Joncich Sturm & Associates, Inc is a full service architectural firm specializing in innovative design solutions for community, institutional, and educational clients throughout California. Since its inception, JSA has designed and master planned over 2,600 projects for over 40 different school districts, municipalities, and public agencies. JSA has designed numerous new facilities and has performed major additions and renovations to existing facilities. JSA is distinguished from others through its commitment to personalized service and responsiveness. All of our work is generated in collaboration with the client from initial design sessions to construction administration.
Deadlines, budgets, and quality control are of primary concern to the client as well as the architect, and each project affords JSA the opportunity to improve the synthesis of function, space, and aesthetics. Value engineering and life cycle cost analysis is embraced as a means of providing the best solution for a project within tight budget constraints. Understanding that all facilities must balance individuality and function, JSA strives to provide innovative and specialized solutions to the design issues facing the clients and user groups, architects and engineers. We pride ourselves on being problem solvers, helping to resolve the architectural problems unique to each project.
We at JSA take a responsive and active part in every project designed. JSA is small enough to offer a direct, personalized service to our clients yet large enough to undertake projects of any size. A Principal and Project Manager participate in each phase of every JSA project, constantly contributing their own special skills, special talents and experience. Consistent with our philosophy of personalized service, the Principals are directly responsible for all phases of the project.
Principal / President
Anthony is a licensed architect and Principal of Joncich Sturm and Associates also known as AWu Government Services. He has over 25 years of experience in all facets of architecture, from initial design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, specifications, and bidding through to construction observation and support services. He is well-versed in access compliance issues and has been trained by DSA to perform access compliance plan reviews. Anthony has experience in working with various state agencies such as the Division of the State Architect (DSA), State Fire Marshal (SFM), and California Department of Education (CDE). Anthony also has extensive experience working with the United States Postal Service, Los Angeles Unified School District, local civic governments, and the US military. He is responsible for integrating and implementing the latest technology platforms in the office. Anthony has personally been involved in the management and coordination of over 1,000 civic, military, and educational projects since 1990.
